Background and Scope

To ensure the secure, efficient transmission and exchange of information electronically, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has created a National Public Key Infrastructure, named the National Center for Digital Certification (NCDC). NCDC is created by an act of law and its mandate is stipulated in the Saudi Electronic Transactions Act. NCDC provides trust services to secure the exchange of information between key stakeholders. In this short survey, you are invited to give your opinions and ideas about PKI and how do you plan on using it.

• Assist with important factors related to NCDC and SWOT analysis.
• Indication of current knowledge of PKI.
• Conducting a field survey of customers and their plans and potential uses
• Identify behaviors of users.
• Identify the hopes and expectations of users of the services provided by NCDC.
• Identify the best way to provide the service.
