Joined Saudi Aramco late in 2000, worked in several IT entities that cover several IT functionalities varying from Operations and Security. He was part of the first team that established PKI in Saudi Aramco in 2001 and since then he has been the PKI administrator within the company. He holds a BSc. in Computer Science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), June 2000. Saudi Aramco Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Experience The presentation will describe Saudi Aramco’s experience with establishing and maintaining its own PKI infrastructure for almost 10 years. It will list the business drivers behind implementing PKI infrastructure in Saudi Aramco, the strategic challenges faced during implementation and how they were overcame, the operational and usability challenges, lessons learned and future PKI roadmap in accordance with the IT strategy of Saudi Aramco.
