Head of E-Signature Certification Authorities Licensing Unit , ITIDA, Egypt, has the responsibility of managing the licensing and auditing procedures Mr. Hisham Abdel Wahab has experience of 15 years in IT field , currently he has contribution to efforts done to build and promote the E-Signature Industry in Egypt:- Head of E-Signature Auditing Committee , 2009 Member of Egypt’s Root CA Evaluating committee, 2006 Member of Egypt’s Root CA RFP implementation group, 2005 Member of Evaluating Egypt’s CAs proposals, 2005 Member E-Signature executive directive Committee. Implementing the Egypt’s Directive for E-Signature Law in Egypt , 2004 In addition taking the consultation and executive rules in the -Cyber Crime Law; Technical consultant for Egypt’s E-payment initiative; Telecommunity centers and E-Readiness Projects in MCIT. Member of Egypt’s Information Highway Project team who won the Global Stockholm Challenge Prize in June, 1999
Egypt’s Experience in PKI and E-Signature
The presentation will be focus on the Egyptian PKI model and E-signature law in Egypt with more details and reasons for choosing such model. This will also cover about implementation the Root CA and putting the operational requirements and auditing the operation and infrastructure of the ESPs.
